A voice for the non-religious in Swindon

“Human decency is not derived from religion. It precedes it.” ― Christopher Hitchens

October talk: Prof. Chris Bertram – What are our obligations towards refugees and asylum seekers?

The next talk we have arranged as a joint evening with Swindon Philosophical Society is coming up, and is a very topical subject indeed. Professor Chris Bertram from Bristol University will be here to examine our moral duties towards refugees and asylum seekers. It should be a very interesting and timely discussion, I hope to see you there!

Friday October 2nd, 7.40pm, Friend’s Meeting House, Eastcott Hill, Swindon SN1 3JF

This event as usual is free, but a small contribution of £2 to help cover costs would be much appreciated!
