A voice for the non-religious in Swindon

“Human decency is not derived from religion. It precedes it.” ― Christopher Hitchens

Peter Tatchell – July 16th – “Organised religion and its threat to human rights”

Our regular July meeting date coincides with this talk at the University of Gloucestershire, so instead of our pub chat we’d like to open this up to anyone who wants to come along. The talk itself sounds really interesting and I’m sure most people are aware of Peter Tatchell and his many years of campaigning for equal rights. There’s no entry fee for the talk, and also going will be Gloucester Humanists and Gloucester Philosophical Society, so a good opportunity to meet like-minded people!

Peter Tatchell – “Organised religion and its threat to human rights”

Thursday July 16th, 7.15 for 7.30pm, Francis Close Hall

University of Gloucestershire (Francis Close Hall Campus) Swindon Road, GL50 4AZ Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
